My long time friend and fellow music producer Datamatros has a new EP out today called Stimulate. Throughout April I met up with him to photograph the cover. The goal was to get a portrait of Rasmus, and we went to a couple of places in Copenhagen to get the shot - see below.
☽ LOCATION I: BISPEBJERG CEMENTERY ☾
This place has a lot of different locations to offer, and as most of the trees had just started to bloom, it was a good opportunity to introduce some green colour - we walked around for a bit and ultimately decided on this glade as our first spot. All natural lighting and a mixture of 35mm, 55mm and 85mm.
☽ LOCATION II: FÆLLEDPARKEN ☾
For our next session we met up and had a walk around the Nørrebro neighborhood as the sun was setting. We eventually made our way to Fælledparken and once again found ourselves in the middle of a glade, this time at dusk. These pictures are mainly shot with an 85mm lens with the source of light being a small LED-panel. This time we went for more the more mysterious approach with a black & white edit which ultimately became the picture you’ll find on the cover of the EP.
